 The agitator.: (Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pa.): November 06, 1856
In Hopkinton, R. I., on the 19th of October, 1856, of disease of the lungs, Mrs.
Julia A. Cassoday, wife of Mr. John B. Cassoday, aged 22 years. The deceased was the
daughter of Widow Lucy Maxson, of Hopkinton… She graduated at Alfred Seminary, with
the honors of her class, and the esteem of her classmates. Two months ago she was
married, and looked upon the life before her with bright prospects and cheering
hopes… She leaves a young husband and a large circle of friends, who will often
mourn as they think of Julia.
