War Pension files Daniel McDonald, Elizabeth w7422 BLW#11185-160-55 SC line, widows application 2 March 1852 Hall Co. Ga. Age 97 Soldier and widow had married in Feb. 1782 in Abbeville Dist.SC and widow stated that one Celia Byrne was at the wedding, in 1808 soldier and wife moved to Clark Co. Ga. and in November 1816 they moved to Jackson Co. Ga. and in 1835 they moved to Talbot Co. Ga. where soldier died in November 1835 and in January 1836 his widow returned to Jackson Co. Ga. where she lived when she applied in Hall Co. Ga. on 14 Feb. 1854. She stated she married to the soldier in Feb. 1782 and their one child "Sarah" was born 25 January 1783 and she married William Yarborough and in 1854 was living in McMinn Co. Tn. Other children were; Absalom b. 12 Aug. 1784 and he died about 1836, Daniel born 6 Sept. 1786 and died Oct. 1849, Amy born 29 April 1789 and she married J. Bridges and in 1854 was living in Murray Co. Ga., Eli born 17 DEc. 1791 and he died at age 3 years, John born last day of Feb. 1794 and in 1854 he was living in Russel Co. Al. Also two other sons were Alexander and William both of Jackson Co. Ga. and a daughter Basheba who was living in Ga.(name of Co. blurry) widows application for BLW 14 April 1855. Aged 100 years.
