Mabel Smith Flowers January 5, 1912- January 21, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Mabel Smith 
Flowers, 95, of Columbus, Georgia died Sunday January 21, 2007 at the Columbus 
Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday January 27, 
2007 in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum in Parkhill Cemetery according to 
Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Reverend Steve Dumas will officiate. The 
family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Friday January 26 at the 
funeral home. Mrs. Flowers was born January 5, 1912 in Donalds, SC daughter of 
the late Fred Eugene Smith and Nina Wilson Smith and the widow of Cecil B. 
Flowers.   Survivors include Laura and Peter Mount, Jennifer Mount, Ashley 
Mount, Royce and Marie Smith, Corey Smith, Jamie Knight, Jeff Knight, Precious 
Ferguson and a very close friend, Myron Douglas
