Carolina being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of such worldly Estate as it hat pleased God to bless me with, do make and ordain this my last will in manner following that is to say, after paying my debts and funeral expenses. I give to my wife Nancy a negro Girl about twelve years old named Moriah for and during her natural life: and after her decease I give the same to all my children hereafter mentioned to be equally divided amongst them, to them and their heirs forever. I give to my daughter Elizabeth Dillishaw one negro Girl named Martha about ten years old. And all the rest of my personal Estate I give and bequeath to be equally divided between the whole of my Six children namely Lucy Hardy,Samuel Walker, Sanders Walker, Margaret Martin, Barton Walker and Elizabeth Dillishaw. And lastly to constitued and appoint Sanders Walker Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this the 29th day of January one thousand Eight hundred and forty seven.
