Court of Common Pleas. I, Edward S. Croft, Master in and for the County aforesaid , SEND GREETING: WHEREAS, Mrs. O.P. Boysworth on or about the Thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and thirty-six exhibited her complaint in the Court of Common Pleas, for the County aforesaid, against Ben F. Griffin, demanding judgment in relation to the lots of land hereinafter mentioned and described; and the cause being at issue, came on to be heard on the fifth day of December, 1936 and such proceedings were had therein as resulted in a Decree of the said Court, whereby it was adjudged and decreed that the said lots of land hereinafter mentioned and described to be sold by Edward S. Croft, Master in and for the County aforesaid on the terms and for the purposes mentioned in the said Decree in judgement Roll No. 7429 as by reference thereto on file in said Court, will appear; and the said Master, after duly having advertised the said lots of land for sale by public outcry on fourth day of January in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and thirty seven, did then openly and publicly, and according to the custom of auction, sell and dispose of the same unto Mrs. O.P. Boysworth the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, HAVE GRANTED , bargained, sold and released, and by these Presents, DO GRANT, bargain, sell and release unto the said Mrs. O.P. Boysworth, (a) Tract No. one, being all of that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, with the improvements thereon, consisting of one dwelling, situate, lying and being in the Town of Madison, a suburb of Graniteville, in the County of Aiken , State of SC, being One Hundred (100') Feet front on Hewitt St, by One Hundred and Fifty (150') Feet deep, bounded North by lands of Peterson, East by an alley, South by lands of Ben McKievie, and West by Hewitt St.; this being the tract of land conveyed to Ben. F. Griffin, by deed of W.S. Burkhalter, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of Court for Aiken County, SC in Book of Deeds no. 32 at page 359. (b) Tract No Two, being that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, with the improvements thereon, consisting of one dwelling, situate, lying and being in the Town of Madison , a suburb of Graniteville, in the County of Aiken, State of SC, measuring Fifty (50') Feet on Hewitt St, and running back One Hundred and Fifty (150') Feet bounded North by lands of Sarah Coleman, East by Hewitt St, South by lands of Hannah Harris and West by an alley; this being the same property conveyed to Ben F. Griffin by W.S. Burckhalter by deed recorded in the office of the Clerk of Court for Aiken County, SC, in Book of Deeds 34, at page 349.
