For some time reports have been coming in from the Old Town Creek locality that moonshine liquor was being made on the wholesale, and the local officers have been on the lookout to seize the stills and the whisky makers. The party of officers walked up on old man Henry Bryant, and caught him redhanded. The largest still take was of sixty gallon capacity; the other two were smaller. A quantity of mash, beer and low wine was also destroyed by the raiding officers. Henry Bryant is in jail.
