Hendershott, third daughter of the Col. H.B. Hendershott, of the U.S.A., who has for many years been a resident of Aiken, died on Tuesday last, Dec. 6th, after a long and weary illness, of consumption, and was buried at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church on the afternoon of the 7th inst. She had been a communicant of the church since March 1879, and bore her sufferings with a sweetne4ss and gentleness of disposition which were fit accompanyments to a firm and abiding faith in the redeeming blood of our Savior. Her remains were followed to the grave by a numerous concourse of sorrowing friends. A sweet flow has sunk to rest in the bosom of the earth from whence it sprung, to reappear again in more beautiful form in the celestial realms of eternity.
