Edward Eanes
Edward C Eanes, 1006 Marion Ave, North Augusta, SC, died Sunday at a local 
infirmary after an extended illness.
Mr Eanes, son of John Edward and Henrietta Orgain Eanes, was a native of 
Kenbridge, VA, and had resided in Augusta for the past 50 years.
He was a retired District Wire Chief with the Southern Bell Telephone and 
Telegraph Co, and a member of Social Lodge Number one, F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Gladys Palmer Eanes, North Augusta; one sister, 
Mrs Virginia Jones, Norfolk, VA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Westover Memorial Park at 11 
am today with the Rev Comer Brownlow officiating.
Pallbearers are, Otis Minor, Otis Noel, James Moye, EW Cato, AB Harley and Leo 
E Cook.
