Mr. W.M. Fitch, of Charleston, S.C., ages 27 years, and respectably connected, 
committed suicide on Friday last, by shooting himself with a pistol. The deceased 
was an employee of the South Carolina Railroad Company, who had been recently 
promoted. His accounts were perfectly straight, and the cause of the unfortunate 
act as a mystery.
