Died at Aiken, S.C. on Wednesday night, February 3rd 1886, Mrs. Susan Ball Hay the wife of Rev. T.P. Hay. This estimable lady leaves a devoted husband and two little children, one a few days old to mourn her untimely loss. The funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian Church on Thursday afternoon by the Rev. John Dow assisted by the Rev. E.C. Edgerton, Lucious Cuthbert and W.M. Duncan, The remains were taken to Charleston on Friday, and from thence to Mt. Pleasant where they were interred in the _________ and of her father's family. Mrs. H -- was loved and respected by all who --- her, and the sympathies of ___ entire community go out to the ---- husband and motherless children in this hour of deep affliction.
