Aiken Courier-Journal 25 Oct 1877
A two year old child of Mr. Jeff Williamson, residing near Merritt's Bridge, in 
this county, was burned to death on the 9th instant. It appears that the child had 
been left in the house by its brother, a few years older, and on his return its 
clothing was found to --- in a light blaze of fire. It was so ----ribly burned 
that all efforts to save ---- were unsuccessful.
