I do not know anything about her family. She married my great-great-grandfather George Stone in the 1830's and they farmed about 350 acres in the Brushy Creek Section of the Anderson District. The farm was at the intersection of Moore and Bagwell Roads (between the present Wren High School and the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church). George was from the Greenville District, probably from just across the Saluda River from Piedmont or Pelzer. I have information that his father was William H. Stone, and that his grandfather was the William Stone (born in VA) who died in Greenville District on November 5, 1832.
