Larry Petrisky, _Some Moores of Pendleton District, South Carolina, With Hembree 
and Sanders_, Atlanta, GA , December 2003, p. 84: 

19 December 1836.  Elisha Moore to John Tripp Jnr, $600, 125 acres, part of 2 
grants on Saluda River adj. John Clardy's, Jeremiah Moore, Larkin Gambrell, 
Saluda River; no wife mentioned; witnesses: Adam Elrod, Jeremiah Moore.   See 27 
Sep 1815. 

Elisha Moore d.1842, Jeremiah Moore d.28 Feb 1877, "an aged and respectable 
citizen of this County, died at his home near Clinkscales Mille on the 28th 
ult." [The Independent (Anderson Co, SC) 8 Mar 1877 Thurs.] 

1842.    ELISHA  MOORE  died intestate.  Folder #957  Anderson County  
Courthouse. Estate settlement 16 May 1842 mentions Jacob Moore, Allen W. Moore 
and Jane I. Jones (wife of John W. Jones) - Elisha's children. 

Pendleton Messenger, 24 Apr. 1833, notice for sale of real estate of John Moore, 
dec'd.  Elisha Moore v. Elijah Moore et al; Reuben Moore resides out of state.
 
Highland Sentinel, 19 Aug. 1842, Anderson Dist. SC Ordinary's Sale.  A. M. 
Moore, applicant, vs. John Moore, John Jones and wife Jincy J., Jacob Moore, & 
James Moore, defendants.  It appearing to my satisfaction that the two last 
above named defendants reside without the limits of this State:--It is ordered 
that they do appear and object to the division sale of the real estate of Elisha 
Moore..."
