State Of South Carolina			Bond of Administration 
Anderson District				in the Court of Ordinary

Know by all men by these present that we Kelsey C. McCoy and 
William Holmes (?)
are holden and firmly bound unto H. Hammond Esq. ordinary for the 
district aforesaid in the full and just sum of two hundred dollars 
lawful money of this state to be paid to the aforesaid H. Hammond 
ordinary or his successor in office or their certain attorney or 
assigned for which payment well and truly to be made and done. We 
bind ourselves and every of our heirs executor and administrator 
for the whole and in the whole jointly and severally firmly by 
these present sealed with our seals and dated this 5th day of March 
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two. 
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above 
bound Kelsey C. McCoy administrator of the goods, chattels, rights 
& credits of Suffey McCoy deceased do make a true and perfect 
inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights & 
credits of the said deceased and which have or shall come into the 
hands? possession or knowledge of the said Kelsey C. McCoy or in 
the hands ? of any other person or persons for him?  and the same

_____ do exhibit the same in the said court of ordinary when he 
shall be there unto required, and such goods, chattels, rights and 
credits do well and truly administer according to law and do make 
a perfect and true account of his actings and doings therein when 
required by the said court and the rest of the goods, chattels, 
rights and credits which shall be remaining upon the account of 
the said administration the same being first allowed by the said 
court shall pay and deliver unto such persons respectively as are 
entitled to the same by law then this obligation to be void or 
else to remain in full force.
