Roll No. 934 In the name of God Amen, I William Harper of the State of South Carolina Anderson District being of sound and disposing mind and memory but weak in body and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath please God to blefs me with, do make and ordain this my last will in manner following that is to say I desire that all the stock that can be conveniently spared be immediately sold after my decease and out of the monies arising therefrom all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and should that probe insufficients for the above purpose then I desire that my executor hereinafter named may sell the tract of land whereon I now live or so much thereof as will be sufficient to satisfy such of my debts as shall remain unpaid out of the sale of the stock. After payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to my wife Nancy all of the residue of my estate as well real as personal for and during the term of her natural life, And after her decease I give Andrew & Juda to my son John Harper Also I desire that my son John Harper take Mary and her increase if any she has at their or her appraisment retaining as equal share (with the rest of the legatees) of the same in his own hands, I give the balance of my estate to all of my children the same to be sold and equally divided among them all or their heirs as the case may be , forever. And lastly, I do constitute and appoint my said wife executrix and my son John Harper executor of this my last will and testament, by me heretofore made in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of August A.
