McGill, of the state of South Carolina, Anderson County, being of sound mind and memory and 84 years of age, do make, ordain, and publish this to be my last Will and Testament. First, I desire after my death that my daughter, Eleanor M. McGill, have my body decently buried. Second, I then desire said Eleanor M. McGill to pay, or cause to be paid, my funeral expenses and all my just debts. I then will and give to my daughter, Jane H. Davis, wife of William S. Davis, $1 in full of all her claims against my estate. I then will and give to my son, Henry L. McGill $1 in full of all his claims against my estate. I then will and give to my grandson, William A. McGill $1 in full of all his father, Samuel H. McGill, now deceased claims against my estate. I then give and award to the heirs of my son, Andrew H. McGill, deceased, $1 in full of all their claims against my estate. I then will and give to my son William J. McGill $1in full of all his claims against my estate. I then will and bequeathe to my daughter, Eleanor M. McGill, the balance of all my estate, both real and personally, to have and to hold and dispose of as she, the said Eleanor M. McGill, may think proper. I make and appoint Eleanor M. McGill executor of this will. This I make and declare to be my last Will and Testament revoking all former wills made by me to which I fix my name and set my seal this 15th day of March, 18 hundred and 72. Mary S. Roll Number 3347 "Personally appeared W. A. Glenn subscribing witness to the annexed instrument of writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mary S. McGill late of Anderson County, deceased, who being duly sworn, deposeth and saith that he was present, and did see the said instrument of writing duly executed by the said Mary S. McGill. And deponent further saith that the said Mary S. McGill, at the time of executing the said instrument of writing was, to the best of deponent's knowledge and belief, of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding; and that W. A. Glenn (the deponent), and James L. McCauley and A. J. McKee in the presence of each other, and of the said Mary S. McGill, and at her request, signed their names as witnesses, to the due execution of the same. Sworn and subscribed to before me, this third (3rd) day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty one." (signed) W. A.
