George the Second, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, 
king, . . . do give and grant unto Henry Feissler, his heirs and assigns, one 
hundred fifty acres of land situate, lying and being in the low . . . of the 
Santee River opposite the lower part of . . . township in the Province 
aforesaid . . . and hath such shape, forms, and marks, as appears by a plat 
thereof hereunto annexed: Together with all woods, under-woods, timber and 
timber-trees, lakes, ponds, fishings, waters, watercourses . . . privilege of 
hunting, hawking, and fowling in and upon the same, and all mining and 
minerals whatsoever; saving and reserving, nevertheless,  to us, our heirs and 
successors,all white pine trees if any should be found growing thereon: and 
also saving and reserving to us . . . one-tenth part of mines of silver and 
gold only. . ..

Additional Comments:
The grant document requires Feissler and his heirs to pay to the Crown three 
shillings sterling yearly, and to clear, cultivate, build a house, and keep 
five head of cattle at the rate of one acre for every 500 acres of land.
