M. HAIG Box 98 No. 22 To this the last Will and Testament of E. M. Haig of Charleston South Carolina 29th July 1852 I nominate as Sole Executor My Son H. Maham Haig M.D. owing debts to No One. I direct that my funds the House and lot in Meeting Street My Servants, Household Furniture, Silver, Plate, Glass Ware, table and House linen, with every thing I possess, be divided equally between My Daughter Mary Haig Motte and My son H. Maham Haig M.D. My Pictures to be divided also My Daughters Mary Haig Motte one half to be Secured to herself and children Under her Marriage Settlement So that it shall Never be liable for any debts of her present or any future Husband She May have. Soon after My decease the Burial Service to be read at my own House. Have No one invited to be present, My remains to be carried to Bridge Church St. James Goose Creek, and then Com- mitted to their Kindred element in the Cemetery among my An- cestors.
