HOLT CEMETERY, Cherokee County, South Carolina

To get to this cemetery from Shelby, NC take NC 18 south and on into South
Carolina. Just a hundred feet or so before the SC 18 and SC 105 intersection
make a turn to the left and follow this road Rock Springs Church and turn right
just before the church. Follow this road until you see a dirt drive kind of
leading of to the left almost paralel with the main road and crossing the RR
tracks. Follow this drive until you find an open place going off to the right.
The cemetery is out this grassy drive on the left at about the end. I was there
April 29, 1998. There is probably 6-20 graves that are unmarked and/or marked
with field stones.
