                              HORTON CEMETERY

     This is a small cemetery in Cherokee County, SC. To get to it, go
     out by Prospect Baptist church and on into SC. Go to the second
     road to the left and the cemetery will be about a half mile on
     the right with only two markers right on the side of the road. I
     checked it out October 8, 1997. There is 4-6 graves with field
     stones.

Horton, Nancy 41 years July 16, 1865
Horton, Nim 15 years July 16, 1865

                            HORTON CEMETERY # 2

                               By W. D. Floyd

     To get to this Cherokee County, SC cemetery, go out Prospect
     Baptist Church road from NC to the third road to the left or east
     after you go into SC. You will be turning right beside a small
     country store. After you turn go about a half mile and the small
     cemetery will be about a hundred yards out in the woods on the
     right side of the road. There are some mobile homes on the other
     side of the road. I was at this cemetery October 8, 1997. There
     were 6-8 other graves marked with field stones.
