I Walter Brown of Chester District in the State of South Carolina being far advanced in life and in a frail State of health, but of Sound Mind and Judgment, knowing that it is appointed unto all Men once to die. I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following---- In the first place I commit my Soul to God who gave it, and my Body to be buried in a decent Christian manner as to what worldly property God in his providence has intrusted to me I do dispose of it In the following manner after paying my lawful Debts.----- 1st I will and bequeath to my two sons John and robert ten dollars each 2dly I will and bequeath to my daughter Genny Gaston my Negro Woman Kate and her two children Peter & Sarah and all the children She may yet have, I also will and bequeath to her all the property and Money belonging to me after paying the above mentioned twenty dollars.
