Will of Walter Brown

In the Name of God, Amen.

I Walter   Brown of Chester District in the State of South Carolina
being far advanced in life and in a frail State of health,
but of Sound Mind and Judgment, knowing that it is appointed
unto all Men once to die.  I do make and ordain this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following---- In the first place I commit
my Soul to God who gave it, and my Body to be buried in a decent
Christian manner

as to what worldly property God in his providence has intrusted to me I do
dispose of it In the following manner after paying my lawful Debts.-----

1st  I will and bequeath to my two sons John and robert ten dollars
each

2dly I will and bequeath to my daughter Genny Gaston my Negro Woman
Kate and her two children Peter & Sarah and all the children She may
yet have, I also will and bequeath to her all the property and Money
belonging to me after paying the above mentioned twenty dollars.

I do hereby appoint and ordain my Son John Brown and my Son in
Law Joseph Gaston to be the whole and sole executors of this my last
will and Testament and whereas I have sold a tract of  land to John Drury
and given my bond to make Titles when the purchase Money is paid,
the Said John Drury being now dead I will and appoint Joseph Gaston
to make good and lawful Titles to the said Tract of Land unto the Heirs
of the Said John Drury according to the bond for That purpose given-.

and I hereby revoke and disannul all other wills & Testament
