I Thomas Cowsert being weak in body but of Perfect Mind and Mimory & calling to mind the Mortallity of Man Knowing that it is appointed Once for all men to Die, I do here by Make Ordain Constitute & Appoint this my Last Will & Testament. Item I. Recommend my Soul to God who Gave it me & my body to be buried in a Decent Christian Manner at the discretion of my Executors who is hereafter named. Item I. Give & Bequeath unto my Beloved Wife Agnes Cowsert during her Natural Life or Widowhood all my whole Estate Real & Personal. Item I. Give & Bequeath unto my daughter Mary Cowsert and my son John Cowsert & my daughter Eleanor Cowsert one fourth part of the value of my whole estate (except land) to be equally divided among the three above named children which portion they or their heirs shall receive at the time that my youngest daughter Gussey Cowsert comes of age unless my after named Executor shall jointly agree to give them their portion sooner. Item I. Give & Bequeath unto my son James Cowsert, my daughter Nancy, my son Thomas Cowsert, my son Robert Cowsert & my daughter Gussey Cowsert the residue of my whole estate (except the land) to be equally divided amongst them at the death or marriage of my wife. Item I. Give & Bequeath unto my son Robert Cowsert All & Singular the Whole of that Tract of Land whereon I now live which Land the said Robert Cowsert his lawfull heirs or asigns shall possess at the death or marriage of his Mother provided that it should may be lawfull for my Executors to see that the above named James Cowsert, Nancy Cowsert, Thomas Cowsert, Robert Cowsert and Gussey Cowsert get sufficient chance of schooling to learn Reading, Writing & Common Arithmetic which school shall be paid out of the Estate and deducted out of the whole of the same. And Lastly I do hereby Constitute and Appoint my Well Beloved Wife Agnes Cowsert with my Trusty Friends John Cowsert, Francis Roy and James Young as my true and lawfull Executors hereby revoking and disanuling all other Wills by me made and ratifying and confirming as this my Last Will & Testament.
