Imprimis my Soul I resign to God that give it hoping for pardon & remission of all my sins through the merrits of Jesus Crist my Savour, then my Body I commit to the Earth for whence it came to be buried at the descretion of my Executors.  And as for my worldly Estate, where with it hath pleased God to bless me with, I Give, Devise and dispose of in the following manner (VIZ) Item my will & desire is that all my Just Debts be paid & my funeral expence all so, Item, I give to my Daughter Charrity Roden one Negro man named Aaron, Item, I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Lee one negro woman named Hanner, Item, I Give to my daughter Mary Goore one negro woman named Silvey, Item, I give to my daughter Sally McCollum one negro Boy named David, Item, I give to my daughter Dellia Carter one negro man named Harry and one negro woman named Rachel and her child named Clerlinda and one feather Bed bed Sted and furniture, and seventy five acres of land part of Hendersons tract joining the Beg Survay Item, I give to my Daughter Anna Carter one negro boy named Jack and one negro man named Sam and one feather bed  bed sted and furniture & one side saddel Item, I give to my son John Carter one negro man named Dick and Sixty acres of land lying wherehe now lives = part of a track bought from Eli Gore, Item, I give to my son Blake Carter seventy five acres of land part of a track bought from  Henderson joining Eli Cornnels land and lying on the Creek and Six hundred dollars in Cash to be paid out of my money at my Death and that is all my son Blake is to have out of my Real or personal Estate. Item, I give to my son Churchel Carter one negro man named Dan, Item, I give to my son Joseph Carter one negro man named Rheuben and one negro Boy named peter and the track of land I now live on and the Ballance of Gores track Containing two hundred acres more or less joining of this tract I now live on and one feather  Bed Bed sted & furniture and half of my present Crop that is now Growing. Item, I give to my grandchild Churchel Carter son of Elizabeth Long one hundred Dollars in Cash to be paid at my Death out of my money Item, and at my Death all the balance  of my money that  I have in hand or owing to me is to be equally divided betwixt my nine children named John Carter, Churchel Carter, Joseph Carter, Charrity Roden, Elizabeth Lee, Dillila Carter, Mary Goore, Anna Carter & Sally McCollum.
