O, Pp.25-26 Written: November 22, 1834 Recorded: April 13, 1839 In the name of God Amen I John McCullough of Chester District being of Sound and disposing mind and Memory but weak of body and Calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all Such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with, Do make and ordain this my last Will, in manner following that is to Say. I desire that My Just debts and funeral expenses be immediately Paid out of the ready money in my possession at my decease. After payment of my Just debts and funeral expenses, I Give to my Brother Hugh McCullough One hundred Dollars in Money, and All my right title and interest in and to a tract of Land of which he is now in Possession I give and bequeath to him his heirs executors and assigns for ever. I give unto My brother Hugh McCulloughs Children. William, Mary, Robert, Sarah, John, and Elizabeth McCullough, two notes with the interest arising thereon which I hold of their father Hu McCullough. the one bearing date the 23d October 1830-for four hundred and eight Dollars and Sixty one cents the other for four hundred and Ninety Seven Dollars and Sixty Cents, to be divided equally among them and paid to each Child as he or she comes of age. I give also to my brother Hugh’s daughter Mary my bed and bedclothes. I give to my brother in law John Linn one hundred Dollars. I give to my brother in law Patrick Phenny One Dollar, I Give to my Brother in Law Christopher Strong One Dollar, I give to my brother in law William McCaw One Dollar, I give to my brother in law R “ Bowens One Dollar. I give to my Brother James McCullough my saddle and bridle and all my wearing apparrel, and two thousand Dollars in Cash to him and his heirs Administrators and executors for ever. I give also to my brother Hugh’s son John McCullough One hundred Dollars— All the rest of my estate both real and Personal of what nature or Quality Soever it may be not herein before particularly disposed of I desire May be given to my brother James McCullough, and I give the Same to him his heirs executors administrators and assigns for Ever. And lastly I do constitute and appoint my friend James B. Magill of Chester District Executor of this my last will and testament by me heretofore Made.
