In the name of God Amen. I Jannet Standley of Chester County in the State of
South-Carolina being weak in body but of sound memory: Blessed be God for it:
Doo this twelth day of december in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven
hundred and ninety-five make & publish this my last will and Testament in the
manner and forme following (That is to say) First I Resign my Soul to the hand
of a gracious God and my body to the earth to be decently buryed and as to the
good things of this world with which it has pleasy God to bless me. I doo by
this my last will & testament Constitute and appoint my natural and only livig
Childe Catharine Addoms to be the Heir and posessor of all my estate real and
pursonal except one guena which I give and bequeath to my Sister Margret Brown
My Real estate cosisting of one tract of land of twohundred acres and one Lot of
land in the town of camden Number Fourhundred and twenty Six I give and bequth
to hir the Sad Catherine Addoms and to hir Heirs forever that Shall linealy
Decend of hir body but if She Shall die without children or childe then it is my
will that the abovve estate shall Fall to my Brotherinlaw Walter Brown and to
his Children
Lastly I appoint as the Executors of this my last will and testament the Revd
John Brown and Joseph Gafton, Esq.
