On last roll: September/October 1864. Nathaniel Morgan Beckham, son of Burrell Beckham and Rachel Morgan, b. Jan. 2, 1821 in Lancaster County, S. C. d. March 21, 1885 in Union County, NC. Married Elizabeth Baskins 1847; Sarah Matilda Connell 1852; and Martha Jane Burnett Sept. 3, 1863. On 1850 Census in both Lancaster and Kershaw Counties. On 1860 census in Chesterfield County, S. C. (with Sarah Connell, 2nd wife, and four children, Francis, James, Elizabeth and Catherine Jane.) On 1870 Union County, NC census with wife, Martha Jane and children.
