Perry To Miles Cone Title Deed The State of South Carolina Know all men by these presents, that I, Susan M. Perry of St. Paul's Parish in the State aforesaid, in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to me paid by Miles Cone in the State aforesaid, planter, have granted, bargained, sold, and released, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, and release unto the said Miles Cone all that plantation or tract of land situated, lying, and being in St. Paul's Parish, Colleton District, containing (248) two hundred and forty eight acres, more or less, bounded southwest by lands of Coln. B. Perry, northeast by lands of Est. Somners Lorette, east by lands of Est. Martin, and more particularly described by a plat made by Thomas P. Cooper, Deputy Surveyor, January 15th 1847, TOGETHER, with all and singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and appurtenances to the said Premises belonging, or in anywise incident or appertaining: TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto the said Miles Cone, his Heirs and Assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself and my Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Miles Cone, his Heirs and Assigns, against me and my Heirs, or any other persons lawfully claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof WITNESS my Hand and Seal, this third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine and in the seventy third year of the Independence of the United States of America.
