Waring Cone The State of South Carolina, County of Colleton Know all men by these presents, that I, Mary Jane Cone of Colleton County in the State foresaid, farmer, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents by M. Waring Cone in the State aforesaid, (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged), have granted, bargained, sold, and released, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, and release unto the said M. Waring Cone all that piece, parcel, lot, or tract of land lying and being in St. Paul's Parish, Colleton County, State aforesaid measuring and containing ninety three (93) acres, more or less, and bounded as follows on the north by lands of Perry Tumbleston, on the south by lands of Clark (?), on the east by lands of Mrs. Mary Jane Cone, and on the west by lands of Mrs. Eliza Jane Tumbleston. The above land is received and is accepted by the said Waring Cone as his full and equal share and child's part of the real estate of the said Mary Jane Cone and W.F. Cone. TOGETHER, with all and singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and appurtenances to the said Premises belonging, or in anywise incident or appertaining: TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto the said M. Waring Cone, his Heirs and Assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself and my Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said M. Waring Cone, his Heirs and Assigns, against me and my Heirs, and any person or persons lawfully claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof. WITNESS my Hand and Seal, this 19th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven and in the 121st year of the Sovereignty and Independence of the United States of America.
