I certify, that the within name P.C. Wheeler a private of 
captain D.R.------ Co. (C) of the 13th Regiment of the South Carolina  
Volunteers, born in Spartanburg District in the State of South Carolina  
age 22 years, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark complexion, blue eyes, light hair, 
and by occupation a farmer was enlisted by Adjt, J.C. Calhoun in Celleton 
Dist. S.C. on the 31st day of December 1861 to service for and during the war.
