I John Andrew of St. Bartholomew Parish Colleton County Planter, being in a weak Low Condition of Body but of Sound mind a Judgement (praised be God) knowing the certainty of Death but as its time is uncertain, Therefore the better to Discharge myself from worldly concerns and to be prepaired for the lords Call I Do Recommend my Immortall Soul to God for Salvation thro the merits of Jesus Christ my only Redeemer; and my body to be buried decently at the Discretion of my executors after mentioned. 2d. I will that all my just Debts and funeral Charges be first paid, 3d. I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Ann and to her heirs forever my Negro Judith and her Child Peg with my two Negro Children Bob and Maria; and also one of my best Beds and its furniture. 4th. I will that all the remainder of my Estate Real as well as personal shall as Soon as Can Conveniently be sold at Publick Vendue and after paying the just Debts the remaining money so arising shall be put out at Interest on Good Security of the use and Benifite of Beloved Daughter Ann her and her Heirs for ever to be paid at her marriage or when She Shall attain to the Age of twenty one years and In case of her Death before that time above mention’d 5thly then I give and bequeath all the above mentioned Negroes and Sums of money that may arise from the Sale of my Said personal and Real Estate to my Beloved Brother James to him and his Heirs for ever. 6thly I will and appoint Doctr James Skirving and my Brother James as Executors to this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me formerly made at any other time.
