Constantia B. Townsend to Hope Ruffin
[Delivered to C.J. Ruffin Oct 27, 1895]

I Constantia T. Pegues of Darlington County for and in consideration of the sum
of Fifty to me in hand paid by Cornelius J. Ruffin of Darlington County,  have
granted to Cornelius J. Ruffin

All that certain parcel or lot of land lying and being situate in the county of
Darlington in the State aforesaid, containing three 50/100 acres more or less
and bounded as follows: On the north by The OLD QUARTER ROAD on the east by
lands of W.A. Carrigan and RANDOLPH RUFFIN, on the South by road leading from
Society Hill to Long Bluff and on the west by lands of Becky LUCAS as well
appear by plat hereto atached made Nov 29, 1889 by Geo W. Carle C.E.
Signed: twenty eighth 28 of November 1890.
Wit: Mary M. Townsend, Frank Pegues
