Darlington District	)	I Thomas Coker of Society Hill in the 
State and District aforesaid believing my mind to be sound and unimpaired though
in Feeble and delicate health of body, and knowing the uncertainty of Life; do make this my 
last Will and Testament as follows,
                                I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife 
Sarah Rachel Coker my sole executrix and confer upon her full power and Authority to take 
charge of all and singular my property real and personal and at her discretion to sell or 
dispose of all or any part thereof, as she may think best for the interest of herself and our 
infant son Thomas H Coker & she is further authorized to pay all my Debts and to collect all 
moneys due me and to sell and transfer all my interest in the concern of C Coker & Brothers 
and to settle and give discharges or sell and make Titles at her discretion to any or all 
property or claims whatever without any restrictions or reservations.

Witness my hand and seal this thirteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and forty six and in the seventeenth year of the Independence of the Unites 
States of America,
