I Rachel Ruffin being infirm in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all men once to die, do constitute and appoint and ordain this my last will and testament and first of all I recommend my Sout to God and my body to a decent Christian burial. Item: Give my thirds of one hundred and fifty acres of land the property of the late STEPHEN RUFFIN to be equally divided between JOHN RUFFIN, NANCY RUFFIN, ELIZABETH RUFFIN, SALLY SHEPARD RUFFIN, "HOPE" HANNAH RUFFIN to them and their heirs forever. Item: I give to Nancy Ruffin, Salley Shepard Ruffin, "Hope" Hannah Ruffin, ten head of hogs, two feather beds and furniture bed steads to be equally divided between Elizabeth Ruffin, Salley Shepard Ruffin, Hope Hannah Ruffin. Also my household furniture to be equally divided among the above named Persons to them and their heirs forever.
