"The Humble petition of Thos. Dyson and Austin Rowe respectfully shews that Wm. B. Rowe decd. Departed this life some years since in testate, and that Thos. J. Nichols obtain letters of adminstration on his Estate. That of the Personal Estate of said Dedd there is not enough to satisfy the debts of said Deceased that your pertitioners are creditors of deceased, and [are ___] of subjecting the funds derived from the sale of the real Extate of said decd to the payment of their debts in accordance with the Act. Included 1 Negro boy Willis at $405.00. STATE of SOUTH CAROLINA Edgefield District by John Hill, Esq, Ordinary of the District aforesaid. TO: Mary Roe, Pinckny Roe, A. J. Roe, Sophia wife of Elijah Holloway, Martha wife of John Marbert, Eliza wife of David M. Smith, Mary wife of S. M. Gage & Malinda E. Row & A. Rowe the petitioners, heirs and Distributors of the late William B. Row deceased. These are to cite and amonish you the said Distributors above names at the instance and request of the creditors of said dec'd to appear at the Court of Ordinary to be be held at Edgefield Court for Edgefield District on the fifth day of January Anna Domini 1847 to show cause if [any of you can ...] why the proceeds of the real estate of William B. Box 56 Pkg 2348, Edgefield Co., SC March 2, 1867 South Carolina, Edgefield Dist} I pattition (sic) the Ordinary of Edgefield District for Letters of Administration on all and singular the goods and chattels of Malinda E. Rowe who departed this Life about the 17th day of Feb. last intestate who left as her next of kin three brothers and three sisters: Pincny Rowe, A.J. Rowe, Mary Gage wife of J. M. Gage, Martha wife of John (Marbutt), Sophia wife of Elijah Holloway and your petitioner.
