From the index to loose probate records this estate is in Box 26 pkg 939 with Amos Watson Satcher as administrator. This can be found on LDS film #162251 On the 22nd day of November Dolly Satcher relinquished her right of administration of the estate of my deceased Husband Hezekiah Satcher to Amos W. Satcher. Amos W Satcher applied for letter of Admin Third day of Nov 1815 Hezekiah Satcher died before Nov 3,1815. Administrative bond issued 24th November 1815. Amos W. Satcher, Peter Herrin and William Herrin posted bond $2,500.00 Warrant of appraisment issued 24th day November 1815 Appraisers: Herrin Bush, Caleb Malden and William Holsten (William Holsten did ot sign but Isaac Bush signed with Herrin Bush and Caleb Malden Dolly Satcher purchased most of the items. Others purchasing: Arthur Satcher, Benjamin Jones, Thomas Bishop, William Herrin, Amos Satcher, John Cogburn, Stephen Frederick, Richard Gibson, Benjamin Medlock, Robert Satcher, Willis Frederick, Samuel Satcher, Jane Lott, William Bush, Reuben Holmes, Joshua Powell, Ezekiel Walker Some of the Payments: 1818 Cash paid for boarding Herrin M Satcher 1 year $20.00 " " Polly Satcher 2 years $40.00 " " Fanny Satcher 2 years $40.00 " " Timothy Satcher 2 years $40.00 " " Margaret Satcher 2 years $40.00 1819 " " Fanny Satcher 1 year $20.00 " " Margaret Ann Satcher 1 year $20.00 A payment on the 6th (month not legibile) 1820 Paid Dolley Satcher for boarding Fanny & Margaret for $20. "To clothing and Boarding Herrin Polley Rebeckah Fanny Timothy & Margaret Satcher for the___year omitted in __________$60.00 [This is the only mention of Rebeckah - she could have died very young and shortly after her father or possibly Rebeckah could be a 2nd name for Polly or a 1st name for Fanny. She is being treated as a deceased child of Hezekiah Satcher.] The estate continued until December 1831. Shares were paid to: Dolly Satcher, widow, William and Polley McCarty (Daughter Polly Satcher) Bibbi and Fanney Satcher (Daughter Fanny married her 1st cousin Bibbi Satcher son of Arthur Satcher) Herrin M. Satcher COMMENTS: Timothy and Margaret are not listed as receive a share. ( From the estate papers of Willis Satcher in 1828 Amos Watson is listed as guardian of Herrin,Fanny, and Margaret. Payment had been made to William McCarty and wife Polly) This indicates that Timothy and probably Rebeckah died in childhood. and Amos W. Satcher, administrator of the estate and guardian received Margaret Ann's share. Hezekah Satcher dec'd was the son of Samuel Satcher d. 1814 and Fannie Watson d. 1815.
