Wounded at Chickamauga, GA, September 20, 1863, in right lung
On last roll March/April 1864
Retired to the Invalid Corps, March 10 1865.  Born in Edgefield District, SC, 
age 22 (in 1865), 5 ft 8 inches tall, dark complexion, dark eyes, black hair, 
farmer

There is a standard military marker on this grave.  There are however, no dates.
