I am the widow of William Lott who enlisted in Company D Regiment of 14th Battalion of ------- , Captain Abner Perrin on the 1 day of April 1861, and served in that command until the end day of 1864. He was discharged from the service at end of the war in April 1865, and was at that time a member of Company D, Regiment of 14th Battalion of Captain Perrin. I was married to him 15 day of Dec 1853. my husband did not desert the service of the Confederate States nor of this State. My husband died on the 11 day of May 1890. My income from all sources does (exceed $500 does exceed $1000 crossed through). The valuation of all my property does (exceed $500 does exceed $1000 crossed through). I am 82 years of age. I reside at Johnston in Edgefield County, SC, and have lived there since the all my life. I have not been on the pension roll of South Caroling, nor any other State, nor of the United States. Sworn to and Subscribed before me this 22 day of March, 1919 WT Kinnaird Probate Judge (LS) Missouri Ann Lott STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA County of Edgefield Personally appeared before me JG Mobley and JB Hart who being duly sworn, each of them deposes and says that they know Mrs Missouri A Lott who is an applicant of a pension, and they have read the said application that they know of their own knowledge that her husband, named William Lott was a member in Company D Regiment 14 and that he rendered services as therein stated; that she has resided in this State all her life. We are of the opinion that the said applicant is entitled to a pension thereunder for the following reasons: 1) That her husband, William Lott was a bona fide soldier in the late war between the states 2) That she is 82 years of age, and was married prior to 1890 3) That her income does not exceed $500 (Here state any other reasons which influenced the Board to grant or reject this petition.
