TO THE COUNTY PENSION BOARD
The undersigned applies for enrollment under the Act of 1919.  I am the widow 
of George W Lott who enlisted in Company H 7 Regiment of ----- Battalion of 
SCV, Captain bland on the 1st day of June 1861, and served in that command 
until the 9 day of April, 1865.  He was discharged from the service at the 
close of war on the ----day of ---- 1865, and was at that time a member of 
Company H 7, Regiment of SCV Battalion of SCV Captain Bland.  I was born 14 day 
of Oct 1841.  I was married to him --- day of --- 1869.  My husband did not 
desert the service of the confederate States nor of this State.  My husband 
died on the 14 day of April 1909.  My income from all sources does not exceed $ 
(no income).  The valuation of all my property does not exceed & (no 
property).  I am 78 years of age.  I reside at Johnston in Edgefield County, SC 
and have lived there since the --- day of all my live.
I have been on the pension roll of South Carolina in Class C4.  I am not on the 
Pension roll of any other State, nor of the the United States.

Personally appeared before me Dr SG Mobley and DE Gibson who being duly sworn, 
each of them deposes and says that they know Mrs Virginia C Lott who is an 
applicant for a pension, and they have read the said application; that they 
know of their own knowledge that her husband, named George W Lott was a soldier 
in Company H 7th Regiment of SCV and that he rendered services as therein 
stated; that she has reside in this State ---- years.

We, the undersigned County Pension Board of Edgefield County, do certify that 
we have made a careful examination of the application of Mrs Virginia Lott.
We are the opinion that the said applicant is ---- entitled to a pension 
thereunder for the following reasons:
(1)  That her husband Geo W Lott was a bona fide Soldier in the late war 
between the states.  (Having been wounded and lost one leg
(2)  That she is 78 years of age, and was married prior to 1890, and was in 
Class 4
(3)  That her income does not exceed $200 income.
(4)  The value of all her property does not exceed $ (no property)
(Here state any other reasons which influence the Board to grant or reject this 
petition)
