The State    March 16, 1958
William Lester Broadwater, 50, former automobile parts salesman died yesterday 
morning.
Mr. Broadwater was born in Edgefield County and the son of Mollie Foley 
Broadwater and the late Asa Guy Broadwater, Sr.  He had lived in Columbia for 
13 years.  He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Ridge Springs 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother and a brother, Asa Guy Broadwater, Jr. of 
Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 today from Thompson Funeral Home 
conducted by the Rev. P. Homer Jeffcoat.
