Former Johnston Man Dies At Americus, GA
Luther Lott Succumbs Following Brief Illness
Special to the Chronicle:
Johnston, SC, Mar 18-News was received here Saturday by relatives of the sudden 
death of Luther Lott, a former resident of Johnston at his home in Americus, 
Ga.  His burial took place Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Americus.  He is 
survived by his widow and two children; James Lott and Mrs Grady Moss, of 
Americus; two brothers, Jack A Lott, of Columbia and Will Lott of Edgefield, 
SC; one sister Mrs Elizabeth Cogburn, of Anderson, SC.
S.J. Watson, Ed Watson, Watson Wright, Mrs O.D. Padget, Miss Mae Watson, of 
Johnston, went to Americus to attend the funeral.
