General William Butler One Negroe man named Lewis Also my Bay Sulton Horse---------------------------------- 3d I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew James Moore Butler the Five following Negroes Viz. Clarge, Priss, Phill, Grace, Matt and their future increase to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever------------------------------------------------------------------- 4th I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew George Butler all that part of my present Dweling plantation be the same more or Less that is Situated below the Saluda Old Town Branch which runs into the River Just below and near the flat landing which said part of my present dweling plantation is bounded by the Lands of Coleman Bladen Patrick Moses Walton the Said Saluda Old town Branch and Saluda River and includes my present Dweling House also the Seven following Negroes, Viz, Luck, Ben, Jinny, Hampton, Jeny, Charlott, Monday and their future increase to him his Heirs and assigns Forever— 5th I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew William Butler the Seven following Negroes, Viz, Bob, Pat, Jacob, John, Sib, Silvey, Silas and their future increase to him his Heirs and Assigns forever---------------------------------------------------------------------- 6th I give divise and bequeath unto my Nephew Francis Butler Two Negroes, Viz, Tarlton, and Bill Also the Sum of One Thousand Five Hundread Dollars to him his Heirs and Assigns forever----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7th I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Andrew Pickins Butler that part of my present Dweling plantation situated above the Saluda Old town Branch be the same more or less Bounded by Lands of Walton and Walter Abney Sauda River and the Said Branch (which is to be the dividing line between the said Andrew Pickens, and George Butler) the Six following Negroes Viz Hams little Jack Dianna, Rachell, Rhode, Sam, and their future Increase al my Archabald Horse to him his Heirs and Assigns forever---------- 8th I give devise and bequeath to my Nephew Pierce Mayson Butler the Seven following Negroes, Viz, Big Creek George, Binah, Limas, Peter, Saffa, Joe, Martha, and their future increase to him his Heirs and assigns for ever---------------------------------- 9th I give devise and bequeath to my Niece Emely Butler the five following Negroes, Viz, Elender, Keller, Harry, Sophia, Lorey, and their future increase to her, her Heirs and Assigns forever----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------ 10th I give devise and bequeath to my Nephew Leantine Butler the four following Negroes, Viz, Patrick, Emery, Cater, Biddy and their future increase also my Black colt with a Blase in his face that come out of my little Bay Mare to him his Heirs and Assigns forever----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- 11th I give devise and bequeath to my Half Brother Gilson Yarbrouch the three following Tracts of Land adjoining to where he now lives on Big Creek and the Waters thereof Two tracts of Which I purchaised of the Norwoods containing One Hundred and Twenty five Acres each the other One Hundred and Eighty I purchased of Walter Abney – Which Said Three tracts of Land be them More or less I give divise and bequeath to the Said Gilson yarbrough for and dureing the Term of his natural life and at his death to his Son William Yarbrough his Heirs and assigns forever------------------------------------ 12th I give devise and bequeath to my Niece Harriet Shankling the Sum of Three Thousand Dollars to be paid to her in Two equal Annual instalments the first to become due in one year after my death to her her Heirs and Assigns forever------------------- 13th I give devise and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Moore the Four following Negroes, Viz, Elisa, Clarke, Nance and her child Marinda and their future increase to her her Heirs and Assigns forever 14th I give and bequeath to Mary a Coloured Girl One Feather Bed and Furniture 15th I give and bequeath to Susannah a Coloured Girl One Feather Bed and Furniture 16 I give and bequeath to my Nephew Francis Butler all that part of my Lands Situated on Big Creek and the Waters there of that is to the Northward and Westward of a Line commenceing at the Lour line of my Said Land and runing up Big Creek to the mouth of a Dry Drean below a field cleared by Mr Bufington thence Southward untill the Line extends oposite to the Head of a Hollow that was the dividing line between the Lands I purchaised of Lindsay & Kiser thence down Said Hollow to Dry Creek and up Dry Creek to Grahams Line Which Said Lands Situated on the Northward and Westward of the before Mentioned Line I give and bequeath to my Said Nephew Francis Butler his heirs and Assigns forever--------------------------------------------------------------------- 17th I give and bequeath to George Butler my Cesler Horse Bought of James M Butler 18th I give and Bequeath to my Sister Bohathalin Butler all my Beds and furniture belonging thereto---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19th I give and Bequeath to Emely Butler my Chest of Draws & Dressing Glass 20th I Give and Bequeath to my Nephew George Butler the Remaining part of my Household and Kitchen furniture that I have not heretofore given away 21st It is my Will that all the Lands that I possess, and not heretofore given Given away, except the remaining part of the tract on Big Creek, Shall be equally Divided between my Sister Butler and my Three Nephews William Butler Pierce Mayson Butler and Leartine Butler // Heirs & assigns forever------------------------------------------- 22d It is my Will that my Executors afer paying the Two Sums of money here in beofre given away amounting to Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars out of what Debts is due me, or my Crop, or both if necess. that then- it is my Will that whatever shall remain of the Debts due me and Crop together with all the remainder of my Stock nor heretofore given away of every Kind, Waggons and plantation Tools- Shall be equally divided between my Sister Behathalin Butler my Six nephews James M., George, William, Andrew Pickens, Pierce Mayson, and Leontine Butler- And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Two Nephews James Moore Butler and George Butler my Executors of this my last Will and Testament- Hereby revokeing and making Void all former wills and Testaments at any time heretofore by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament- In witness where of I have Subscribed my name and fixed my Seal this The
