That is to say first that all I will that my wife shall possess the third part of my estate as long as she shall live. Item: I give to my son Philip the tract of land that I bought from Mr. Bell, also the land I bought from Mack Good both joining, lying on the Beaver Dam Creek in Edgefield County in the State of South Carolina. Also one negro girl named Fanny. Item: I give to my son William the tract of land I bought from Mr. John Loggin lying in Edgefield County on Gunehleses Creek in the State of South Carolina during his life and after his death shall be equally divided between his children. Item: I give to Betsy Tally one negro girl between five years and ten years old and if she died without heir of her body the said negro girl shall return to the estate again. Item: The part that my wife's sustenance after her decease shall be equally divided among my children. Only bedding and furniture shall be divided between my daughters, only Betsy Tally shall have her equal part with my daughters; and all my other lands and possessions cattle, hogs and houses and house furniture and everything that I possess shall be equally divided between all my children. Item: I will that my estate shall be equally divided by some men. My first will is that they lot out everything according to its value and there just due. I do further instruct this my last will and testament to lastly, I constitute my son Philip Thurmond and my son William Thurmond executors of this my last will and testament, and I do revoke and disannul all my former wills made and constituted by me but constitute this my last will and testament.
