I give to my daugher, Sarah Harris, 2 negroes, one boy named Edward, and one girl named Nancy, also $75.00 to be paid her by my sons Thompson and George G. T. Ware...Thompson $50.00 and George T. Ware $25.00 in order that the negroes left each may be equal. I give to my son Thompson 2 negroes named, viz: A woman, Jenny, and child, Harriet. I give to my son Geroge G. T. Ware 2 negroes, boy Nathan and a girl, Matilda. Also to George in consideration of his dutiful care and affection and kindness of me in my declining health and advanced age all the residue of my estate being horses, mules, household and kitchen furniture. I give and bequeath to my grandaughter, Lucy G. Bacon, $200.00 to be paid her by my 3 children. No executor was named. Witness: Mary Ann Bird, John Middleton and Frances Middleton.
