Vol. O-Q 1802-1807 P. 324 South Carolina Know all men by these presents that I Isaac REYNOLDS planter in the District of Fairfield & state aforesaid for and in consideration of two hundred to me in hand will and truly paid by Lewis Rochel MARR have granted bargained and sold and by these present doth grant bargain and sell unto the said MARR his heirs and assigns one certain plantation or tract of land containing forty four acres and one eight of an acres part of a tract of two hundred acres of land originally granted to John Lesly? LERWILL/TERWILL? Bearing date the 21st of May 1772 and part of a tract of land originally granted to John bearing date the 3rd July 1772 reference being ---- to the plat hereunto annexed will more fully at large appear to have and to hold all and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto the said Isaac REYNOLDS do herby bind myself heirs exec. Admr. And assigns to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Lewis R. MARR his heirs and assigns against myself my heirs and assigns and all and every person or persons lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof. EVANS of the Justices of the Quorum in the District of Fairfield do certify unto all whom it may concern that Silva REYNOLDS wife of Isaac REYNOLDS did this appear before me and after being privately and separately examined by me did declare that she does freely voluntarily without any compulsion dread or fear of any person or persons whomsoever reasons? Release and forever relinquish unto Lewis R. MARR his heirs and assigns all her interest estates and also her right and claim of Dower of in or to all and singular the premises mentioned and relinquished? MARR have granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Lewis Rochelle MARR his heirs and assigns one certain plantation or tract of land containing one hundred acres of land more or less lying and being on the south fork of the Wateree Creek in the District aforesaid originally granted to Pressley TIDWELL bearing date the 21st of May 1772 Witnesseth by G.MONTAGUE governor over the sd. Province in that day now the above sold tract of land of one hundred acres the line ---------------------- hickory ------ running N 10 Q 44 72 stake then cornering & running N 80 E to South fork of Wateree Creek then with said Creek to the Creek N 32 E to hickory on the original line then running S 80 W along the said line to the hickory beginning corner to have and to hold all and singular the rights memberes hereditaments and appurtenances to have and to hold all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto the said Lewis R. MARR his heirs assigns forever and I the said Isaac REYNOLDS do hereby bind myself my heirs exec. & adm. And assigns to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto Lewis R. MARR his heirs and assigns against myself my heirs and assigns and all and every person or persons con--- claiming the same or any part thereof.
