I William Hatcher of Fairfield District State of South Carolina being weak of Body but of Sound Mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner following. Viz First I give and bequeath to my eldest son John Hatcher one dollar; Secondly I give and bequeath all the Rest of my Estate after my Just debts are paid to my wife Edy Hatcher [Edith Austin Hatcher] during her Natural life and at the Decease of my wife My property to be equally divided between my four youngest Children, that is to say Nathan Hatcher, Mary Ann Hatcher, William Hatcher and Keziah Hatcher; thirdly and lastly I do constitute and appoint my wife Edy Hatcher Executrix and Joseph D. Muse and Bartholomew A.
