DIXON JAMES HAM
Timmonsville, June 28 - Dixion James Ham, 75 died at his home early this 
afternoon after several days of illness.
He was a lifelong resident of the Salem section.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock Friday - afternoon from the 
Salem Methodist church by the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Beckham, Interment will 
follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, the former Addie Scott; two daughters, Mrs. C.C. 
Bell of Timmonsville and Mrs. Jack Amerson of Lamar: three sons, Fred V. Ham of 
Bishopville, Judson C. Ham of Atlanta and Charles H. Ham of Darlington;  one 
sister, Mrs. R. F. Lawhon of Timmonsville; four brothers, Q. J., E.B. and J.H. 
Ham of Timmonsville and C.W. Ham of Florence; 16 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.
