Witnesseth that the said John Justice for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty Pounds Sterling money to him the said John Justice in hand well and truly paid by the said Thomas Barton the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged he the said John Justice Hath Granted, Bargained, Sold, Aliened, Released, Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents doth Grant, Bargain, Sell, Alien Release Convey and Confirm unto the said Thomas Barton his heirs and assigns forever in his actual possession now being. A tract of one Hundred acres of land be the same more or less the same being the south East end of a tract of two hundred acres of land Granted to the said John Justice by a grant under the hand of his Excellency William Moultrie Esquire Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the state of South Carolina and the Great seal of the state thereunto afixed dated the fourth day of September one thousand seven hundred and Eighty six and duly Recorded in the Secretary's Office of said State reference thereunto being ???? may more fully appear situate lying and being in Greeneville County Between the North and Middle forkes of Tyger River Beginning on a black oak William Barton's corner running thence south twenty five degrees east twenty seven chain to a Black oak thence south sixty five degrees West twenty chain to a stake thence North twenty five degrees West to a new line marked through the original tract thence with the said new line to the Beginning. Bounded North eastwardly on land laid for William Barton. Northwardly on part of the same tract all other sides on vacant land being by Estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less.
