C., on Sept. 28, 1914, Major Loyd Little, son of S. D. and Jessie Anderson, aged two years and 28 days. Short was his stay on earth but a sweeter flower never bloomed. He has filled his mission on earth and is gone safe from a mother’s arms to the arms of Jesus, and we all feel that it was better that he lived, for we have a sweet hand drawing us to heaven. Everything possible was done by loving hands to stay the monster, but God knew best, who makes no mistakes, and we bow in humble submission to His will. And my God who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb remember in mercy the bereft father and mother and all that loved him so dearly. He was laid to rest in the Poplar cemetery, Dr. E. O. Watson conducting the funeral services. Grandpa A.
