Lewis Cannon Dead

Died at his home in the Box section on Aug. 18, 1908, Mr. Lewis Cannon in his 
64th year. He joined the Methodist Church at Old Rehoboth in early manhood and 
was converted to Christ in August 18th in 1887 and retained a faithful 
membership of that church until about eight or ten years ago, and when he 
joined the fire Baptized (illegible) he remained a faithful member until God 
called him as his own.

He was Sunday School Superintendent t Rehoboth Methodist church for a number 
of years before he joined the fire society, and was very faithful in 
attendance. His remains were laid to rest in the Rehoboth Cemetery on the day 
following his death to await the coming of the general resurrection.
