Horry Herald January 10, 1907
On Nov. 26th, 1905, the death angel visited our home and took from us our loving
father, the Rev. M. F. Carroll, and he was laid to rest the following day in
Rehoboth Cemetery.  He lingered for sometime with consumption and leaves a wife
and two children to mourn their loss.  He was a kind husband and a loving
father.  We believe our loss is his eternal gain.        Son
